Your files.
On your devices.
Open the files of your own Macs from your iPhone, iPad and other Macs. Send files and messages to people you trust. Everything is encrypted on your device, so Farlink’s servers carry data they cannot read.
Reach your own things. Talk to your own people.
Farlink is the private link between your devices and the people you choose. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud drive and nobody in the middle can open it.
Your own devices
Browse, preview and download the files of your other Macs from your iPhone, iPad or Mac, even when you are far away. Folders you share appear in Finder and in the Files app.
People you’ve verified
Add a contact with a one-time code and compare six numbers together. After that you can message each other and send files, and they get no access to your devices or folders.
Encrypted end to end
Encryption happens on your device. Servers only carry sealed data to the other device and cannot open it. The first message to someone is a request, and nothing downloads until they accept.
Three minutes to set up
- Create an accountOne tap on the device. There is no e-mail and no password to lose. Keep your recovery key somewhere safe.
- Add your devices or your peopleScan a QR code to add another device of yours. For a person, exchange a one-time code and compare six numbers.
- Share and talkOpen files from your other devices, send files and messages to your contacts, and keep the conversation where you left it.
Sealed on your device. Opened on theirs.
Farlink’s servers move encrypted data and keep it for up to 7 days when the other device is offline. They never hold a key.
Your device
Encrypts and signs. Your files and messages stay readable here.
Farlink server
Routes sealed data. Cannot read it, cannot change it unnoticed.
Their device
Checks the signature, decrypts, and keeps the file only if it matches.

Good to know
Can Farlink read my files or messages?
No. Files and messages are encrypted on your device before they leave it, and only the receiving device can decrypt them. Servers see routing data such as IP addresses, who sends to whom, sizes and timing.
Do I need an e-mail address or a password?
No. An account is created on your device. You keep a recovery key; with it, or with another device of your account, you can restore access.
What if I lose a device?
Remove it from another device of your account and its access ends. If it was your only device, use your recovery key.
What happens when I delete my account?
The account and its queued data are removed from Farlink’s servers and your devices erase their local Farlink data. It cannot be undone, and files you already sent stay with the people who received them.
How do I report abuse?
